The two mandatory taxes in Quebec are the GST (10%) and QST (5%). You will also have to pay a tax on lodging amounting to 3.5% of your rental fee before GST and QST.

A security deposit of maximum $500 is held as collateral in the event that you should cause any damages during your stay. It is charged to your credit card at the time of booking and refunded at the end of your rental period, after the cottage has been inspected. For minor damages, a sum equal to the value of the damaged good will be deducted from the deposit.
A booking deposit is the amount you must pay upon reserving a cottage. It equals 50% of the total booking cost. The deposit makes it possible to block off the rental period for you and make the reservation under your name.

We realize that plans sometimes change and we’ll be happy to modify your booking as long as there are availabilities for the new rental period or the new unit being requested.

We will refund you your deposit if you cancel over 30 days before your arrival date. Deposits will not be refunded for cancellations within 30 days of the arrival date.
In the event of major damage or a problem preventing the unit from being occupied, you will be refunded 100% or given an equivalent cottage if available. No additional sum will be paid out.

You must leave the premises in the same condition you found them in upon arriving. Additional cottage housekeeping fees and hot tub maintenance fees may apply if you fail to abide by the directives pertaining to cleanliness and proper usage.
Smoking inside the cottage is strictly forbidden. Should we have reason to believe the no-smoking rule has not been observed, your security deposit will not be refunded to you and will instead go to the owner of the cottage as payment for damages.
Yes. You must shower before entering the hot tub. Also, no drinking or eating is allowed. Please note it is recommended that you limit your time to 20 minutes.
We test the hot tub’s water before you arrive to ensure its quality. It is up to you to ensure that quality is not compromised. Nevertheless, members of our staff will drop in during your stay to make sure the water is stable.
IMPORTANT! Draining the hot tub, or adding products or water to it, is strictly forbidden.
No need to. All our cottages are decorated for the Holidays (Christmas Tree and other decorations).
No, it is actually strictly forbidden! You must comply with the maximum capacity or risk expulsion. This applies to both daytime and overnight guests. It is for insurance purposes. We could have our contract revoked if the insurer’s requirements are not met and would be unable to file any claims in the event of an incident or accident.
Our cottages are located less than 75 minutes from Montreal.
Yes, we keep forgotten items, but for a limited time only. Get in touch with us right away if you left something behind and we’ll ensure you get it back. Please note however that we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
All our cottages are equipped with two pairs of adult snowshoes and one pair of children’s snowshoes.
You will have eight lifejackets of varying sizes at your disposal free of charge. We do, however, recommend you pack a lifejacket for children under the age of two.
